Ross-on-Wye is a straight half-hour down the A49 and we work there most months. No
call-out charge for a quote in HR9.

Holiday lets and second homes

Ross and the Wye Valley have a lot of holiday lets, and tiling for a let is a different brief
from tiling for a family home. The work has to fit in a changeover window, the finish has to
survive guests who aren’t careful, and floors need to be slip-safe when someone walks in wet
from the river. We’ll give you a start and finish date you can book around, and if a bathroom
has to be back in use by Friday we’ll tell you up front whether that’s realistic.

Older stone property

Away from the town centre a lot of houses are stone-built with solid walls and no cavity. Those
walls get damp, and damp behind tiles pushes them off eventually. We check what we’re tiling
onto and deal with the substrate first — tiling over a problem just hides it for a year.

The hillier streets

Ross is built on a hill and some of the lanes off the Market Place are tight for a van. Tell us
about access when you ring and we’ll sort deliveries out rather than discover it on day one.

Villages we cover

Walford, Goodrich, Peterstow, Weston under Penyard, Kerne Bridge, Whitchurch and the villages
down towards Symonds Yat.
