What we did
- Laid large rectangular stone tiles in a staggered pattern across the whole space
- Kept joints narrow and even so the floor reads as one continuous surface
- Cut neatly around the door thresholds, wall edges and the stone feature wall
- Finished the joints with a light grout that matches the tone of the stone
Result
A calm, timeless floor that runs seamlessly between the kitchen and living areas and pairs well with the exposed stone wall.
